    In a nutshell, it is using the airspace above an existing structure to build a new home. Typically this is on top of an existing low-to-mid-rise block of flats, but could also be above a commercial building, or even across the roofs of a whole terrace of houses.

Additional Apartments could reduce your service charge by 15% If Dwell Above are able to add to extra apartments to a block of 10 existing apartments, the service charge would typically be reduced by 15%. Factory building means less disruption Because our apartments are built in bespoke factories and craned on to the building, there is typically 90% less disruption – less noise, mess and hassle.

  • What about the extra weight?
    Dwell Above’s structural engineers, surveyors and designers comprehensively check the building to ensure that the additional weight will be ok on the building. However, given the lightweight design of the new structure, there is rarely a building that we cannot make work.
